Outdoor and Indoor Lighting Installation In Albuquerque

Lighting systems can be customized in many ways. The way the lights activate can be set by timer, motion, or switch and the bulbs can be customized to the level of lighting you desire in any given area of your home. Lights can be big and broadcast a soft yellow light or small and spotlight one area with bright white light.

Outdoor lighting typically consists of traditional Edison bulbs, CFL bulbs, and or halogen bulbs. Each will provide a specific form of light and can be further customized with varying wattages and tints. To cover large areas of landscape, flood lights typically use halogen bulbs that produce bright directed light. For use on the patios and in sheds, CFL or traditional Edison bulbs will work best.

Indoor lighting typically consists of CFL or Edison bulbs exclusively. Some homes use track lighting or flourecent bulb to light kitchens and display areas. CFL are recommended in as many applications as possible because of their high light to heat ratio that makes them a much more efficient bulb than the Edison or halogen version. Large flourecent bulbs like found in kitchens perform comparably to their CFL cousins and are again recommended. Flourecent bulbs including CFL's (Compact Flourecent Light) contain a trace amount of mercury and should never be broken. Contact local poison control in the event of a broken flourecent bulb for help.
